Application of Defatted Scenedesmus Obliquus Biomass for Broilers’ Nutrition

A total of 480 Arbor Acres Broiler chicks (mixed sex) from 1 to 35 days age were divided randomly into 4 treatments evaluate the impact defatted Scenedesmus obliquus biomass (DAB) on broiler performance. The DAB was supplemented diets with levels 0, 0.25, 0.50, 1.00% one-day-old age. samples analyzed in triplicates. productive traits measured weekly and biochemical indices at end trial. Data statistically by One-way ANOVA. It found that slaughter body weight, weight gain average daily feed intake increased birds fed compared control ones. However, conversion ratio not affected any treatments. Broilers’ serum enzymes activities markers indicated liver function as aspartate transaminase (AST) alanine (ALT) kidney’s which creatine urea supplementation. Furthermore, protein, glucose cholesterol broiler’s normal No significant changes observed relative organ weights (spleen, bursa, liver, gizzard, proventriculus heart) or intestine length broilers response supplementation their diets. could be concluded up 1% had no negative impacts might have a positive effect performance
